About Me:

This is so important to me - because I was  once in your shoes!
I was a competitive athlete in multiple sports growing up.  Then a young coach - turned sports med student - that left it all behind for a big career opportunity.  I continued to be a competitive athlete - but over time - like most of us athletes do - started accumulating injury upon injury.  Especially as a multi-sport athlete.  

In my early 40's the injuries from my new sport of kiteboarding started really racking up.  Before you know it I had knee injury, hip injury, old nagging shoulder injury, back pain, and more.  I went from from being a competitive athlete - to limping around & falling apart.

You see so many of us start building up injuries and strains and what not in our sports - but nobody taught us how to strengthen our body in a way that could heal and bulletproof us against injuries.  

Plus - most of us don't know how to strengthen our body (or power chain) in a way that makes us better at our specific sport - while also making us bulletproof and resistant to injuries.

I tried to find solutions and personal trainers - but could not find the solutions I was looking for initially.  I went back to my roots of sports medicine & rehab science.  I was now starting to create and learn solutions on how to heal & optimize our bodies specific to our sport and injuries.  I spent thousands of hours of studying - then applying what I learned in the gym.  Since nobody was doing what I was doing - I also invested thousands of dollars on finding and hiring various coaches and specialists in specific injuries and or disciplines.  Learning - then applying what I learned.

In the process I went from Broken down with multiple crippling injuries - to feeling super human.  I was finally strong and free from my injuries.  At 48 I was in better shape and more injury free than I was when I was a teenager.  I went from not being able to walk up a steep driveway without pain - to being able to do 16 + mile runs up mountain ranges, and still Crush it in the weight room the next day!

So for the last several years I have dedicated my life to helping athletes and various clients - heal - strengthen - and become bulletproof.  

With athletes I also work on what we call your Power Chain.  We develop your Power Chain - specific to your sport and your past injuries - so you can be stronger, faster, and Bulletproof.

MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT
From Knee surgery and bad scar tissue - to Bulletproof!
Onn is another high school student that was friends with my daughter and reached out to request if I could help him with his injuries - especially his Knee that had surgery on.  He went from being a high school athlete - to hobbling around on crutches - and then just weak and limping around.
His whole body had gotten weak and had multiple small nagging injuries.  HIS LEFT KNEE WAS A MESS!
His left knee post surgery had so much damage and scar tissue - HE COULD BARELY BEND HIS KNEE MORE THEN 30 degrees!  It also made these brutal crackling sounds when he tried to do any kind of working out, or even just bend it more than 30 degree.

We got to work on our knee rehab program with him and strengthening his power chain.  We strengthened his entire body - while also rehabing his knee.

After a couple of months of hard work - you can see below HIS KNEE NOW COULD BEND AND GO ALL THE WAY OVER HIS TOES!!!!  He got crazy strong and on Saturday mornings he got brave enough to start working out with me and go through my brutal Saturday morning workout circuits.

From Non-Running Bodybuilder - to 54 mile Ultramarathoner in less than 3 months! All for a good cause..
Joe, a non-runner and devoted father, set out to raise funds for his son's rare brittle bones disease while inspiring his children. Despite his bodybuilder background, he aimed to conquer a challenging 54-mile ultramarathon on rocky, hilly trails. He initially struggled with injuries from treadmill training.

With unwavering determination, Joe partnered with me as his coach to overcome these obstacles, driven by the urgency to fulfill his son's dream.  We focused on healing and strengthening his trail running abilities, emphasizing biomechanical alignment and technique. We also prepared his body for running with gear and water bottles over long distances.

Joe defied the odds and completed the grueling race, enduring harsh terrain and rain. His finish line moment, with his children by his side, was deeply emotional. Joe's remarkable achievement raised thousands for his son's cause, showcasing the power of unwavering dedication. We need more dads like Joe.
Ashley wanted to learn how to build a stronger body.  At only 13 years old, She had NO gym experience at all - but was eager to learn.  She was a delight to work with and always put in a solid effort.

Brett, a new dad and high-level golfer, battled the "Dad Bod" and recurring back pain during golf. Through targeted strength training over three months, he emerged victorious in his company-wide golf tournament, hitting 300+ yard drives effortlessly and pain-free.

Dr. Hubbard was fantastic to work with. He was helping me early on and loved talking sports medicine and geeking out with me on discussing both his methods of sports rehab - and how my methods of training worked. He is a big fan of my methods and I am a big fan of his. He loves how I blend in sports medicine - rehab - and various methods of strength training into my unique training methods. He was always impressed with my physique and strength at my age and we had a great working relationship. I will miss him now that I have moved to Florida.
The Gravity Girls!
Special Small Group Training Class. The gravity girls were full of small nagging injuries from all the aerobic, boot camp, and spin classes they did all week long. So they came to me to help heal and strengthen their power chains from top to bottom.
We went right to work with a totally custom program just for them. It was a huge success - and they all become some of the strongest women with grit and integrity I have ever worked with.
To this day - they are going strong and train 6-7 days a week. They are total beasts and role models to their families, friends, and community.
